Short bearing life

The short life of the bearing is mainly due to the movement of the rotary center line of the vibration source of the circular vibrating screen. The main reasons are as follows:

  1. After a period of operation of the circular vibrating screen, the connecting bolts and other connecting bolts on the side plates of the shaker and screen box will be loose, resulting in the loss of effective restraint of relevant components, thus causing the axis of the vibration source system to move.
  2. The bolt hole is worn more. When the bolt holes on the circular vibrating screen become more worn, the relevant components will lose effective constraints, resulting in the axis movement of the vibration source system.
  3. The bearing cage is worn. After the bearing cage is worn, the bearing is replaced.
  4. The bearing housing is worn. When the wear of bearing pedestal becomes larger, the axis of vibration source system will move.
  5. Eccentric shaft is worn. When the wear of eccentric shaft becomes smaller, the axis of vibration source system will move.
  6. The frame oil seal on the outside of the vibrator is worn. The thin oil in the vibrator is mainly sealed by the outer framework oil seal. When the outer framework oil seal becomes more worn, the seal of the framework oil seal will fail, causing the oil storage in the vibrator casing to leak out, resulting in the lack of oil in the bearing and burning

Bearing temperature too high

In normal operation, the bearing temperature of vibrator shall not exceed 75 ℃. In the actual production, there is often such a situation: in the operation of the circular vibrating screen, others are relatively normal, but the bearing temperature is too high, and the temperature continues to rise. The main reason for the high bearing temperature caused by this situation is that the lubricating oil level in the vibrator is not suitable.

During the operation of the circular vibrating screen, the phenomenon of oil rejection constantly occurs, mainly due to the following reasons:

  1. There Is A Pressure Difference Inside And Outside. During the operation of the circular shale shaker, with the increase of temperature, the pressure inside the shaker increases. If the vent hole on the bearing seat is blocked, the sealing of the shaker will fail, resulting in the extrusion of lubricating oil from the lip of the framework oil seal under the pressure and the oil rejection.
  2. Loose Gland. The bearing of the circular vibrating screen is installed in the bearing seat, and the O-ring is installed on the gland. If the height difference between the end face of the bearing seat and the end face of the bearing is too small, the locating boss on the sealing gland will lose the function of fixing and positioning, resulting in the non concentricity between the sealing gland and the bearing, thus causing the failure of the sealing function of the sealing gland.
  3. The Rotation Center Line Of The Vibration Source Produces Motion. When the rotary center line of the vibration source of the circular vibrating screen moves, it will also cause the sealing failure of the vibrator, which will cause the oil rejection phenomenon in the operation process of the circular vibrating screen.
  4. The Seal Of The Outer Framework Oil Seal Of The Vibrator Is Not Tight. The shale shaker is lubricated by thin oil. Because the frame oil seal on the outside of the vibrator is worn fast, the frame oil seal is often not sealed tightly, which often causes serious oil leakage.

Short service life of screen surface

The service life of screen surface depends not only on the structure and material of screen surface, but also on whether the screen surface is tensioned. The screen surface used is a special polyurethane screen surface, and the metal wire on the screen surface is coated with a thick layer of polyurethane.

During the operation of the circular vibrating screen, the short service cycle of the screen surface appears, mainly because the screen surface is not tensioned. When installing the screen surface, only two sides of the screen surface are fixed, and there is no fixation in the middle. The screen surface and bracket will constantly collide and rub up and down during operation. In operation, the screen surface is in direct contact with the material. When the screen surface is not tensioned, the screen surface will be in a loose state, resulting in secondary vibration of the screen surface, resulting in increased wear of the screen surface.

Ways of improvement

In order to normal production, the following work must be done well in daily work.

  1. Frequently check the fastening condition of the connecting bolts on the circular vibrating screen, especially the fastening condition of the connecting bolts between the vibrator and the side plate of the screen box. If any looseness is found, it shall be tightened in time.
  2. Replace the bearings in pairs when they are damaged.
  3. Check the temperature of the bearing frequently. If it is found that the temperature of the bearing is too high, it must be stopped for inspection. If the bearing temperature is too high due to improper oil level, it shall be adjusted in time. The vibrator shall be refilled with lubricating grease once every 15 days or so, and the amount of oil shall not exceed 2/3 of the whole bearing space.
  4. Always keep the vent hole on the bearing seat unblocked.
  5. Check the sealing device of the vibrator frequently. If the framework oil seal or O-ring is found damaged, it shall be replaced in time; if the gland is found loose, it shall be tightened in time.
  6. Improve the bearing housing. The thickness of the bearing seat should be increased properly to increase the height difference between the end face of the bearing seat and the end face of the bearing.
  7. Frequently check whether the screen surface is loose or damaged. If it is loose, tighten the screen surface in time; if it is damaged, replace the screen surface in time. When replacing the screen surface, make the tension plates on both sides have the same and even tension, and at the same time, the screen surface must be tensioned.
